Terms of Service

These terms apply to the MarketAgent service available at marketagent.ai, provided by the administrator of the marketagent.ai service ("we"). By creating an account, running the demo or paying for a plan you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" means that company.

The service

MarketAgent is an AI market research and competitive intelligence service. It answers questions about markets with structured reports, builds market maps, estimates market size, monitors public information about companies you choose, sends alerts and briefs, and suggests responses. Features available to you depend on your plan, as described on the pricing page.

Accounts

• MarketAgent is a business service. You must be at least 18 and use it for business or professional purposes.
• Give accurate account information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the members you invite to your workspace.
• Each seat is for one named person. Seats cannot be shared.
• Tell us without delay at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

The demo

Anyone can run one demo without an account, limited to one per visitor per day. A demo shows a partial result. An account without a paid plan keeps that single preview and nothing more. There is no free plan.

Plans, prices and payment

• MarketAgent is sold only as a subscription, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Prices are listed in US dollars on the pricing page. Taxes are added where the law requires.
• Yearly billing is half of the monthly price per month, charged once for twelve months. Monthly quotas still apply in each monthly window of a yearly plan.
• Payments are made by card through our payment operator, with strong customer authentication (3D Secure) where the card supports it. Enterprise annual plans can also be paid against an invoice.
• One workspace can hold one subscription at a time.

Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for the same period and at the price in force at that time, and the card on file is charged. If we change the price of your plan, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal on which the new price applies.

Upgrades and downgrades

• When you move to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing, the prorated difference for the rest of the current period is charged immediately. The new plan and its limits apply once that payment succeeds. If it fails, you stay on your current plan.
• When you move to a lower plan, the change is applied as shown in the billing portal, and no money is returned to your card for the current period.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in the billing portal inside the application. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew after that. Payments already made are not refunded, except where mandatory law gives you a right to a refund. Failed renewal payments are retried for a short period, after which the subscription ends.

Usage limits

Each plan includes the limits shown on the pricing page. Reports and market maps are counted when they are created during a billing period, and deleting them does not restore the quota. Monitored companies, alert rules and seats are counted at the same time. Unused quota does not carry over. We may apply reasonable daily limits to protect the service, and these are shown in the application.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use MarketAgent for anything unlawful, or to harass, profile or monitor private individuals,
• try to access data of other workspaces, probe or overload the service, or bypass limits, for example with multiple accounts or demos,
• copy, scrape or resell the service or its output as a competing data product,
• upload malware or content you have no right to use.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Public sources and accuracy

MarketAgent works from public sources. Every fact links to its source and shows a capture date, and modelled numbers are labelled Estimate with the method shown. Public information can be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and AI generated text can contain mistakes. Reports are research to support your decisions. They are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Check important facts at the source before you rely on them.

Your content and our service

Your questions, settings and the reports produced for you belong to you as between you and us. You may use reports inside your organisation and share them with your clients and advisers. You give us the rights needed to store and process your content to provide the service. We do not use your content to train AI models. The software, design, brand and saved example reports remain ours.

Confidentiality

We treat the content of your workspace as confidential and access it only to provide the service, to give support you ask for, or when the law requires it.

Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep MarketAgent available at all times, but maintenance and incidents can interrupt it. We improve the service regularly. If we remove a feature that is a main part of your plan, we tell you in advance and you may cancel.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or decisions made on the basis of reports, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your workspace at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. When the agreement ends you can export your reports during the paid period, after which the data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are announced by email to account owners at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the place where the administrator of the service is established, and disputes go to the competent courts there. This does not take away any protection you have under mandatory law where you live.
