Enterprise security and data handling for market research

MarketAgent researches markets from public sources only and keeps everything you ask in a private workspace. Your data is never used to train models, traffic and storage are encrypted, and access is controlled with roles, an audit log, SSO and SCIM.

Public sources only

Research and monitoring read public web pages: pricing pages, product pages, careers pages, press releases, public reviews and news. MarketAgent does not log in to competitor products, does not bypass paywalls and does not buy leaked or personal data.

Private workspaces

Your questions, reports, tracked companies, alert rules and briefs belong to your workspace. Other customers never see them, and saved example reports on this site are anonymised and built for publication.

No training on your data

What you ask and what MarketAgent writes for you is not used to train AI models. AI providers we work with process requests only to return the answer, under terms that exclude training on that data.

Encryption

All traffic uses TLS. Databases, files and backups are encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, and API tokens are stored hashed and shown only once.

Access control

Controls by plan

Each plan includes everything in the plans before it.

Every plan

  • Email code verification at sign up
  • Session management and sign out everywhere
  • Read-only, revocable share links where the plan includes them
  • Workspace and data deletion on request

Team and up

  • Roles for owners, editors and viewers
  • Seat management by the workspace owner

Business and up

  • Audit log of workspace actions (who ran, exported, shared or changed what, and when)

Enterprise

  • Single sign-on with SAML
  • User provisioning with SCIM
  • API tokens scoped to the workspace
  • Invoice payment for annual plans

How a request is handled

  1. 1

    You ask a question

The question is stored in your workspace with your user and time.

  2. 2

    MarketAgent reads public sources

Public pages are fetched like a normal visitor would see them. Each captured page keeps its address and capture date.

  3. 3

    The report is written

Facts are extracted with their source. Modelled numbers are labelled Estimate and the method is shown.

  4. 4

    You decide who sees it

Reports stay in the workspace. Exports and share links are created only by members with the right role.

Questions

Security questions from buyers

Security and privacy questions go to [email protected].

From public sources only: company websites, pricing and careers pages, press releases, public filings, public reviews and news. Each fact in a report links to its source and shows the capture date, so you can check it.

No. A workspace is private to its members. Competitors cannot see that you track them, because monitoring reads public pages like any visitor and never contacts them.

No. Your questions, reports and settings are not used to train models, ours or anyone else's.

Yes, on Enterprise. SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning are included in the plan and set up from the workspace settings after checkout.

Yes. Send it to [email protected] and we answer in writing. This page and the privacy policy cover most standard questions.

Email [email protected] with the details and steps to reproduce. We confirm receipt, fix confirmed issues with priority and do not take action against good faith research.
